He has been involved in and with Kentucky Changers some 20 years as an annual speaker.
He has written articles for various publications as well as working with Lifeway on student Sunday School materials. Steve writes a daily devotional posted to Facebook for his personal page as well as Stay in the Word Ministries, and it also appears on Instagram.
Steve, and his son Matt, host, and produce a podcast called “We Were Thinking” where they address Youth Ministry topics but also all faucets of ministry and life, including marriage and family. This is found on I-tunes, Spotify, and on Podbean.
After retiring, Steve began “Stay in the Word Ministries” so he can continue to speak, teach, and share the gospel of Jesus. He has a unique testimony and loves to share it when he can.

This quote is from King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4. He had to learn this lesson the hard way. If you don’t know the story I encourage you to read it.

Jesus saved Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego from the firey furnace because they chose to follow God rather than worship the image. Just like Jesus saves us from the lake of fire for eternity (Revelation 20:15) when we choose to follow Him.
