Ready to help make this year’s Haunted House happen?

We’re getting together to start putting ideas into action, and we want YOU there! This isn’t your typical planning meeting — we’ll be brainstorming, creating, painting, and working together to start bringing this year’s Haunted House to life.

Whether you have a big idea, love to decorate, enjoy getting creative, or just want to be more involved in your community, there’s a place for you!

🎨 Painting will be part of the fun, so dress accordingly!

Come spend an evening with some great people, get creative, and help create something our whole community can enjoy.

Tonight is Doggy Swim at the Pool from 6-8. This for dogs only, do not bring any other pets. For the safety of all people and dogs in attendance use your best judgment if this social gathering is suitable for your dog. Only dogs are allowed in the pool.

The pool will be closing today at 4:00pm due to not having any staff that can work this evening. Sorry for this inconvenience but we will reopen tomorrow at 12:00pm.

The West Jefferson Municipal Pool will be closed all day today 8/12/26 due to the weather. We will try to open back up for normal hours tomorrow at 12:00p!

Friday Night Uptown is this week! We are celebrating America 250 with an ice cream social - free for everyone! The theme is Farm Night. A petting zoo, horse rides, and sno cones are all complimentary entertainment for the children. Local vendors and community organizations will be set-up with unique finds and useful information. New Boot Goofin' will kick off the event on stage from 6pm-7:30pm and Kenny Chaffin will keep the music going from 8pm-10pm.
