It’s Week #1 for WJYAA football! West Jeff is hosting Northeastern at the Jack Rock McDowell Athletic Complex at Converse Park.

PARKING: Organized and respectful parking in our earlier games sets us up for success as the day continues. 🤗 When possible, we encourage our home fans to make use of our “Additional Parking” in the grass and then access the the football field by the walkway between the baseball outfields. This can actually be a great parking location when accessing the home side of the field!

ADMISSION: Adults $4, Students/Seniors $2. Youth athletes and coaches are free. Cash preferred, electronic payment options are available.

SEATING: Each side of the field has a small set of bleachers, but fans often prefer to bring their own chairs, too.

CONSTRUCTION: Please be mindful that there are still active construction projects within the park. Stay safe and be aware of your surroundings!

FOOD & DRINK: In place of our traditional concession stand, we have invited several local food trucks to join us for today’s games! Food/drink will be available for purchase through those vendors.

WJYAA Volleyball begins this week for grades 3rd-6th!

Join us Tuesday at 6pm to kick off the season with a Parents Meeting and our first official practice.

If you haven’t already done so, please log into TeamSnap One and begin interacting with your team. Coaches should be sending team information and using that app as the official form of communication this season.

THANK YOU to everyone who has been generous with their gently used donations for our free fall sports equipment swap! Last night we did our first round of “shopping” where parents could search through our inventory and take what their athlete needed. It was a success!!! The majority of our current donations were geared towards tackle football, but as other items come in, we’ll distribute it to those sports as well.

We are gladly still accepting donations! See below for the 2 porch drop off locations where you can leave your gently used items anytime. All items are offered for free to WJYAA families and are not intended to be re-sold.

Final chance to join the fun! WJYAA volleyball registration is extended through July 31! Sign up at www.WJYAA.org!

Our current numbers look really good, but if we can recruit a few more athletes, specifically in grades 3rd-6th, we’ll be able to better align our teams to maximize their playing time this fall. No experience required—we’re excited to work with entry level players!
