In January, our Tennis Coach and Athletic Director asked the Athletic Boosters to help pay for a new ball machine. The cost of the machine was $2200. The Boosters were asked to contribute $1500 towards the purchase, with the district paying for the remaining $700.

Our ability to assist with the requests of our coaches and the middle/high school athletic programs could not be possible without the support of our fundraising efforts. We hope you are able to check out the new tennis courts and our tennis team this Spring.

In October, after learning that the school could not fund the field improvements for Baseball, the Athletic Boosters were asked by the Athletic Director and Coach to pay $10,875 towards the project. The weather and scheduling has finally allowed for the work to be completed.

Our ability to assist with the requests of our coaches and the middle/high school athletic programs could not be possible without the support of our fundraising efforts. We hope you are able to catch a home baseball game this season!

In December, the WJ Track Coach and Athletic Director asked the Athletic Boosters to assist in the purchase of a throw ring. The Boosters contributed $1500 towards the total purchase of the throw ring. Well the weather is finally cooperating. The WJ Athletic Director and Softball coaches requested financial assistance for field improvements exceeding more than $13,000 for this season. The Boosters were asked to split the cost with the school and authorized up to $6700 for these improvements. Projects like this would not be possible without your support of our fundraising efforts. Let’s go Riders!! Looking forward to their season.

The Athletic Boosters would like to thank everyone who made last night a HUGE success!

*Dan and Kip did an amazing job as the jockeys!

*Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped with the betting table, food, registration and decorations! Pressworks for donating the beautiful programs!

*A special thanks to all of the varsity teams that donated a basket, all of the businesses who made a donation and all of the individuals who made donations towards the auction!

*A big thank you to everyone who helped set up and tear down!

Most importantly, THANK YOU to everyone who bought a table or a ticket, placed a bet, bought a horse, bid on an auction item, bought a raffle ticket, a rose or participated in the “Break my Heart” game!
Each and every one of you helped raise money for our student athletes!

With everyone’s generous donations, we were able to raise over $26,500!!!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again next year! 😁
