👑 A Farewell from Our Ox Roast Queen 👑

What an incredible year it has been! Serving as the West Jefferson Ox Roast Queen has given me memories, friendships, and experiences that I will carry with me long after the crown is passed on.

I’m so thankful to everyone who welcomed me, cheered me on, and made this year so special. From representing the Ox Roast Festival in our community to traveling to other festivals and meeting so many wonderful people along the way, it has truly been an honor.

Thank you to the West Jefferson Ox Roast Festival for giving me the opportunity to represent a tradition that means so much to this community. And thank you to my family and everyone who supported me throughout this journey—I couldn’t have done it without you.

As I get ready to pass the crown to the next Ox Roast Queen, I’m leaving with a very full heart. 💕

Tonight Syndi and Emma visited their final festival before saying farewell on Saturday. They traveled to Millersport for the Sweet Corn yesterday. While it was extremely hot the girls enjoyed their final parade and luncheon, of course with delicious sweet corn. Thank you to Official Millersport Sweet Corn Festival for an amazing time as well as serving cold water to all participants.
