Our Sweetheart Queen, Kida, traded in her Ox Roast sash and crown today for her Hearts of Ohio sash as she participated in the Miss Ohio Parade! 👑

Kida rode in style in a beautiful convertible and had the chance to reconnect with her “big sister,” Addison.

We hope Kida has an amazing week representing Hearts of Ohio, and we can't wait to hear all about her adventures when she returns! 💜✨

Today, a few of our younger court members participated in the Commercial Point Homecoming Parade. Before the parade, the girls enjoyed walking around, visiting with other royalty courts, and meeting fellow parade participants.

During the parade, the girls had a wonderful time waving to the crowds along the route and trying to catch the bubbles floating from our truck.

This evening, a few of our court members stayed local and volunteered at Friday Night Uptown. While the game we had planned unfortunately didn't work out as expected, the girls still had a great time spending time together and enjoying each other's company. Tomorrow, our court will be traveling to Commercial Point to participate in their festival and parade. We look forward to another fun day representing the West Jefferson Ox Roast! 👑❤️

Last night, our Jr. Miss Queen, Summerlyn, volunteered her time to help raise money for the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which provides free books each month to children ages 0–5 in Madison County. This wonderful program helps foster a love of reading and learning from an early age, especially for children who may not otherwise have access to books at home.

Today our court traveled to the Deercreek Dam Days Festival in Williamsport for a fun-filled day!

The day began with Syndi, Emma, and Nora attending the Queens Luncheon, where they enjoyed delicious pulled pork or brisket with sides and amazing cupcakes. Each of the girls was also lucky enough to win a door prize!

Following the luncheon, they spent some time exploring the festival grounds. While walking around, they were asked by a visitor to stop for a photo, and later, while heading to the float, a young girl dressed as Elsa excitedly asked to take a picture with them as well. Her family shared that every year she dresses as her favorite princess and takes photos with the visiting queens — it was absolutely adorable.

Our younger court members later met Syndi, Emma, and Nora at the float, where they discovered a fun surprise — the truck had a bubble machine for the parade! The bubbles were a huge hit with both the girls and the parade crowd, making the afternoon even more memorable.

Thank you to Brooklyn and her court for inviting us to your festival and for such a wonderful year. Congratulations as well to the newly crowned Tessa and her court — we cannot wait to travel with you girls throughout the upcoming festival season! 👑💜

Yesterday our Little Miss Queen Ivory presented to her 4H group on what it means to be a Little Miss Ox Roast Queen. It is amazing seeing her love for this program and her fellow royalty friends and family.

Today Syndi, Emma, and Nora traveled to New Straitsville for the Moonshine Festival. On the drive down, we were all a little worried about making it there with all of the rain Ohio has had this Memorial Day weekend — but thankfully, we made it safely! (After all, is it really Memorial Day weekend without rain? ☔)

The girls enjoyed a delicious meal of pulled chicken or pork with potatoes, along with a yummy cake for dessert. They were also excited to reunite with some of their queen friends they had not seen since winter break.

Following the luncheon, the visiting royalty had the opportunity to tour the festival grounds and enjoy everything the festival had to offer.

Thank you to outgoing Moonshine Queen Courtney for inviting our girls and for such a fun day. And a huge congratulations to our royalty friend and newly crowned Moonshine Queen Ginger! We cannot wait to begin traveling with you again this season. 💜👑
