We’ve been tested on so many levels with Luca’s health. Constant unanswered questions and frustrations challenged our heart, mind and soul. Tommy and I have conditioned ourselves to roll with the punches. No matter how brutal, your child’s life depends on it. We’ve conditioned ourselves to not feel it; not take life too seriously. We know how fragile and brief it could be, we are reminded of this every day. And yet every day, we wake up and remind ourselves to live life to its fullest. We’ll never understand the world through Luca’s eyes; he’s a warrior and the strongest person I know. He never knows what battlefield he will be walking into but he continues to strive and push forward. Keep growing & showing us that you will be the difference. The world is so lucky to have you Luca Joseph! We will strive to find a cure for Pearson Syndrome, one day at a time! We love you with all our heart! Help to create awareness on Rare Disease Day! 🧬💚
