A small group from our pack attended Cub Resident Camp at Baiting Hollow Scout camp this summer. What a great experience it was for these elementary aged children. They all did really well despite being away from home and their parents.

Support our Senior Webelos Food Drive. Non-perishables are being collected. There is a box to drop off your donation at the West Islip Public Library. Collection runs until February 14th.

So proud of our Webelos. They were amazing this weekend. They participated in all of the activites from opening ceremony to closing ceremony. Despite begin wet most of the weekend, they enjoyed trying all the games, cooking, and started a fire using flint and steel. They even stayed awake and watched the entire outdoor movie! They never gave up, packed it in, or complained. Most importantly, they learned that even when situations aren't ideal or going according to plan and it might be easier to just not participate, persistence pays off! They had fun, made memories, and received the Scout Spirit award!

Pack 38 and Pack 279 showed great Scout Spirit all weekend and together, were awarded the District Spirit Award! These scouts stayed positive, had a great time, and worked through any discomfort that the rain may have presented to them. They have the heart of a scout and forged forward!! Congratulations !!

Our Cubs enjoyed a bicycle rodeo at the start of the summer. They learned about bicycle safety, rules of the road, how to wear their helmets properly and had their bicycles inspected. Special thanks to Vicious Cycle and Suffolk PD for their assistance in helping to prepare our youth for a safe cycling summer!
