Dear AKC Approved Judges,

It has come to our attention that some judges have recently received an email claiming to provide “re-education” regarding the Pomeranian breed standard, allegedly from or associated with the American Pomeranian Club (APC) and/or AKC-approved mentors.

We want to make it clear that this communication is not authorized, endorsed, or distributed by the American Pomeranian Club. The APC has not issued any such directive, nor do we communicate with judges in this manner.

Official APC Judges Education materials and guidance are provided only through recognized, sanctioned channels, including approved seminars, mentor programs, and official APC and AKC communications. Any legitimate correspondence will be clearly identified as coming from the APC through established contacts.

We strongly encourage judges to disregard this message and any attachments associated with it. If you have questions about the Pomeranian breed standard or wish to pursue continuing education, please contact Kelly D. Reimschiissel APC Judges Education Chair.

Yesterday was our Pomeranian specialty show in Muncie. While it was a small show , it was definitely a fun one. Personally , our steward.....who I cannot give you his name unfortunately...was a riot ..leaving us in laughter. The show went smoothly as did our meeting after the show. Next meeting will be held via the internet so we can get our next year's officers in place and then comes our Halloween event at the end of October. Get those Littles' costumes ready!!!
