Hello, LHS families!

After five wonderful years, Desiree and Delinah have decided it’s time to step down from their leadership roles with the LHS Parent Council. We have truly enjoyed running the group alongside Patti and are incredibly grateful to everyone who has volunteered, participated and supported us over the years.

We’re now looking for parents who are willing to step into the following positions. Seriously it’s very little time commitment compared to elementary boards. The treasurer is literally a couple hours a month:

• President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
* Fund Raiser Coordinator

The Parent Council is much more hands-off than an elementary school parent group. For most of the year, the commitment is only an hour or two here and there, but the impact is incredibly important. The council provides financial and volunteer support for Grad Night parties, staff appreciation, teacher workdays, end-of-year celebrations and special projects throughout the school. This is an opportunity to create new visions, ideas and run with it!!

Without new leadership, the Parent Council will unfortunately be unable to continue, which means these programs and events could lose an important source of support.

We will gladly help with the transition, answer questions and pass along all the information you’ll need. We’ll also remain nearby and available to assist when needed—you won’t be doing this alone!

Teacher Appreciation Week is off to a sweet start! 🤠🍬
A little country western candy bar for our amazing staff—just a small way to say THANK YOU for everything they do every single day.

It takes a lot of heart to show up for kids the way our teachers do, and we’re so grateful. ❤️

No pressure at all 🤩 — but Liberty High School is looking for a little parent support next week!

We could use some extra hands on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to help serve and support our Staff Appreciation Lunches.

🕛 First lunch shift: 12:00–1:00 pm
🕜 Second lunch shift: 1:30–2:30 pm

Even helping one day or one shift makes a big difference!

If you’re available, please just check in at the main office and ask for Joy when you arrive.
