The heroic doctors at Veterinary Specialists of the Valley saved his life and now they are working to save his leg. He’s a tough, healthy guy who loves life (and all of you) and he’s got a good chance but he has a long fight ahead of him that includes more operations, skin grafts and months of rehabilitation. The catastrophic nature of his injuries and the measures that were necessary to save him

have already used up his insurance coverage and our savings. All that is left for us is to turn to Jimmy’s friends for donations or loans so that he can continue to receive the very best care possible.

It's been 6 1/2 years since the accident and Jimmy, a little greyer, a little slower and with a touch of arthritis is still going strong and is as happy as ever. Here he is playing with his girlfriend Stella. He likes to start the match and then play defense, saves wear and tear on the leg.
