Newborns In Need SoCal San Fernando Valley Chapter Newborns In Need is a nationwide nonprofit serving premature, ill and impoverished babies through their first year of life.

The San Fernando Valley Chapter works closely with local shelters, hospitals, a home for abused, traumatized and neglected children, low income housing properties, Grandparents As Parents, and the Department of Children and Family Services.

As you may be doing some back-to-school shopping or come across some sales, we would love for you to keep an eye out for sales on sleepers and onesies! Our Sleepers in September drive is just around the corner again, and newborns need warm, safe clothes to sleep in! So if you see any stores with sales, please consider buying some sleepers and donating them to us. If you are Amazon shopping, we have an Amazon Baby Registry which we just updated. Your purchases will be shipped directly to us.

We are so grateful to Mira and her family, for their generosity and dedication to our cause. Mira’s daughter had her Bat Mitzvah this past weekend, and she asked her guests to bring donations for us! They came through with 53 packs of wipes, 990 diapers, clothes, sleepers, and a few other items. What an amazing young lady they are raising!
