This year’s TONH Dragon Boat Festival was truly special. It was a dream of our beloved Betty Leong to bring this event to North Hempstead, and we’re so grateful to Paddling Association, Liu, and the Town of North Hempstead for making it a reality and continuing this wonderful tradition for our community.

The energy was incredible, with nearly 40 teams competing! 🐉🚣‍♀️

A huge congratulations to our CCLI Betty Team paddlers on winning a bronze medal in their division! 🥉 We’re so proud of you! Thank you as well to our amazing volunteers who created items and helped at our community pavilion table, and to our talented lion troupe for their fantastic performance.

Another successful event celebrating community, teamwork, and Betty’s legacy. ❤️ On to the next one!
