WBLL members, Dr. Robin DeLuca-Acconi and Liz Gannon-Graydon, co-taught this week’s class for Robin’s course on Human Rights in Social Work at Stony Brook. The session was focused on Chapter 1 of Prentis Hemphill’s book, What It Takes to Heal. It starts with each person envisioning the societies we wish to create. “Without vision we don’t know what to build, just what to knock down.” We led a session where they were invited to create a visual representation of the vision they wished to build, and to share a brief story of their vision.
