2012 ~ The year of Blues and Burlesque

For our second benefit for ACH, we decided to go with Blues and Bu

rlesque. I'm pleased to say it was a "HIT"! We raised twice as much as we did the first year, $2500 which we donated to the Burn Unit at ACH. Our headliners that evening were Zach Williams and the Reformation from Jonesboro, AR. Also performing was Gramm Phillips from Clarksdale, MS and a group of legendary musicians, C. Gatlin, Clyde Watson, Ralph Jones and Benny Adler, they are very well known here in the Delta. But our highlight of the evening was from the lovely ladies at Foul Play Cabaret out of Hot Springs.

2011 ~ In the Beginning

Rockin’ For The Wee Ones initially began as my 18th birthday party. After planning it for almost a year, I wanted it to be something more. Since I spent so much of my life at Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), I wanted to show my gratitude and appreciation, and give back. We started out with just a few bands and decided to have a cover charge and all of the money going to ACH. But it grew. We had gift donations, so we decided to have a silent auction. We raised almost 2.5 times more money than the hospital projected we would. When they heard of our success, they suggested we make commitment to hold a yearly benefit.
