The Monastery Gallery is thrilled to open the exhibit, The Beauty of the Earth. A celebration of Creation, these pieces inspire us toward greater awe of and care for our natural world. At the forefront of this exhibit are the sculptures of Samuel Fuller, OFM Cap.

We look forward to celebrating Samuel, and all our contributing artists, at our upcoming reception on Friday, October 9th!

๐…๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐€๐ฆ๐ฒ: Created in the immediate aftermath of my late husband Taoโ€™s death in 2024. This place emerged from my state of initial shock. A gentle angel hovers at the edge of the cosmos, selecting a soul for departure and body death. She kind and thoughtful; there is nothing to fear. Layers of hot glue and collage and acrylic paint evoke the mystery of fate and the unseen forces that guide our final transition.

Thank you, Amy, for sharing your heart.

As you can see, Elisabethโ€™s work speaks to relationships โ€” between heaven and earth, Creator and Creation, neighbor to neighbor. Reminders we surely need right now. ๐Ÿซฑ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿซฒ๐Ÿพ
