๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ง๐ข๐: After 20 years of painting for pleasure, I began to paint with purpose. As a visual artist, I want to convey the Kingdom of Heaven here on Earth to viewers. I chose 'Ministers of the Most High God, Tried by Fire' to enter the Pilgrims of Hope exhibit because it represents the body of Christ at work. As we go through life, we experience trials and tribulations. These trials test our faith, and we need to be reminded of the hope that is in Christ. The author and finisher of our faith. He is called the Hope of Glory, and He is our hope of a home in Heaven. This Painting was conceived from a dream and a vision, which came together in one painting. The vision was of a Hill & Cross on Fire, and the dream was of followers of Christ answering. His call to help spread His gospel into the streets. When I began the painting, I had no intention of putting figures in the middle; however, while painting the flames, I noticed a hand holding a foot. I continued painting the figures in the fire, eventually reaching the base of the cross. Each one is helping the other to the Cross of Christ. They are working together as one, lifting each other through the trials of lite, encouraging each other in their faith, and laying down their lives for one another. These are. pilgrims of hope, those who come along in times of hardship. "No greater love has any man than to lay down his life for his friends," Jesus Christ.
Our exhibit โPilgrims of Hopeโ runs through April 27th โ we hope youโll visit soon! ๐ฅ
