We have 4 new board members! We will be introducing them to you in a featured post over the next few weeks. So far, we have introduced Jeffrey Clouser as our Denominational Relations chair and Alex Green as Creative Director.

Please welcome Larry Deweese as Membership Chair!

Larry Deweese, of Willowbrook, IL, is excited to be on the board of UCCMA after attending his second UCCMA conference this summer! Larry has worked in a variety of denominations for over 30 years, and is currently the Director of Music at St. Paul ELCA in Wheaton, IL. In addition to sacred music, Larry has been a teacher for 28 years. Most of those years was as a music teacher, but he is now a middle school science teacher in addition to being union president. Recently, Larry became the inaugural director for Harmony United, an SATB choir for LGBTQ+ and allies with membership over 90 serving the western suburbs of Chicago through the Naper Pride organization.
