🚐✨ Meet the Man Behind the Miles: Kenzie's Camp Shuttle Extraordinaire! ✨🚐
One of the greatest blessings of Kenzie's Camp is that our camp family stretches far beyond Connecticut. Each year, campers travel from near and far to experience the magic of camp—with families joining us from places like Chicago, New Mexico, Hawaii, and beyond! 🌎💚
As our camp continued to grow, we recognized a need to provide safe, reliable transportation for our campers and families traveling from airports, train stations, and everywhere in between. Enter our very own Shuttle Extraordinaire...
👏 Kevin Rand! 👏
Kevin serves as a First Responder for Hartford HealthCare and brings extensive medical training, professionalism, and experience to every mile he drives. More importantly, he brings a heart that is deeply invested in our mission and the families we serve.
As the husband of our Camp Director, Shelbie, Kevin has witnessed firsthand the impact Kenzie's Camp has on children with craniofacial differences and their families.
Thank you, Kevin, for helping us connect families from far and wide and for ensuring that the road to camp is just as full of kindness and care as camp itself. 💚

Kenzie’s Camp is just around the corner, and we can hardly contain our excitement! 💜💚
As you start packing, don’t forget:

😎 A positive attitude and a heart ready for new friendships

For the next few days, we’ll be trading screens for campfires, notifications for laughter, and scrolling for unforgettable memories. 🌲🔥🛶
We have an incredible weekend planned in the great outdoors, filled with adventure, kindness, confidence-building, and meaningful connections. At Kenzie’s Camp, some of the most special moments happen when campers discover they’re not alone and build friendships that last long after camp ends.

🩺💙 Camp is less than ONE WEEK away, and we are thrilled to welcome back our amazing camp nurse, Kaydi Ann, for her second year at Kenzie's Camp!
Kaydi is truly one of a kind. We are incredibly grateful for her willingness to volunteer her expertise, compassion, and care to support our campers and families. Not only is she an exceptional nurse, but she also has valuable experience working with craniofacial children and a genuine heart for our mission.
At Kenzie's Camp, we believe that having a nurse who is equipped with both the knowledge of craniofacial care and the heart to serve is essential to creating a safe, supportive, and successful camp experience for every child. Kaydi embodies both of those qualities beautifully.

Feeling so grateful to have attended the American Cleft Lip and Palate Conference in Boston this week! 💜What an honor to sit alongside so many passionate professionals in the craniofacial field—learning, sharing, and continuing the conversation on advancing care beyond the clinic walls.
Representing Kenzie’s Camp as we presented on the psychosocial benefits of incorporating craniofacial camps into treatment plans was such a proud moment. These experiences truly highlight the power of connection, confidence, and community 🌟
Loved meeting new incredible partners and reconnecting with familiar faces who share the same mission of making a lasting impact for children and families affected by craniofacial differences!
