Only 4 more weeks until our 8th Annual Carl Broughton Memorial Golf Outing. 100% of all proceeds benefit the many dogs at Bear & Friends Animal Society. We only need 5 more teams to fill out our roster, so get your foursome together and register for our outing on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH.

This year is already better than all years past, and we can't wait to see everyone on the 20th!!

Hello, all! The golf course (we don't know who did it, why they did it, or when they did it) switched our ANNUAL CARL BROUGHTON GOLF OUTING from September 21st to September 14th. It looks like we will have another great outing, but we are 3 foursomes short of our target registration.

100% of all proceeds benefit the dogs and the operations at Bear & Friends Animal Society. We rescue those that have been forgotten or discarded, rehabilitate them, and take them into early learning programs to work with the little ones. Please help us reach this goal to continue our work.

REGISTRATION INCLUDES: 18 holes of golf, cart, 2 drink tickets, breakfast, swag bag, lunch, course contest and prizes, and opportunity to win more prizes. Also available are Bear & Friends swag, large basket raffle, and fun on Hole #18. Come join us by registering online at bearandfriends.org/events OR email your intent to play at [email protected].

Yes, it's our ANNUAL CARL BROUGHTON MEMORIAL GOLF OUTING once again!! 100% of ALL funds go directly to the care of the dogs at Bear & Friends Animal Society. This is Bear & Friends ONLY fundraiser for the year, thus it is always important that we fill all spots. We have 9 spots remaining, and this is the first we've posted to FB about it. Grab your foursome and come join us for a shotgun start at Sugar Ridge Golf Course on Saturday, September 21st.

The dogs we rescue are typically old, unwanted, need medical attention, or just have a few days to live out their lives.......we let all the dogs live communally and live their lives with dignity and lots of belly rubs. We also sometimes take in younger dogs that are trained to become Canine Good Citizens. Those CGCs are taken into early learning programs and libraries in multiple counties and two states, and we reach more than 350 young children each month. Additionally, we welcome school groups to visit our rescue and give a day of fun to the dogs as well....

We hope you will consider joining us in 5 weeks to have fun with us while supporting this cause. We provide breakfast, a swag bag, lunch, drink tickets, and on-course prizes; along with a huge basket raffle, Bear & Friends apparel, and fun on Hole #18!!

Oh my, my, my.....it's that time again. We are ramping up for our 7th Annual Carl Broughton Memorial Golf Outing. Get your team of 4 and come out to have fun while supporting the dogs at Bear & Friends. We have taken on quite a few more dogs this year, so please spread the word and let's sell out for this event and spoil the pooches. See you in September!!!!
