6th and 2nd graders had a wonderful time meeting their prayer partners! They spent time getting to know each other and sharing a little about themselves. We look forward to seeing these special relationships blossom this year! 🌼 🙏🏻

It’s the 4th day of 4th grade 🎉
We began our day by participating in the Saving Fred STEM challenge. Fourth graders also used 4 adjectives to describe themselves and partook in the “Fantastic Four” story (our winner was so gracious to share their prize). We also assembled glasses for our first class picture.

Today in 8th grade Spanish class, students learned about La Tomatina, a festival in Spain, that takes place the last Wednesday of August each year. What started many years ago as a local festival, has turned into a widely known event that attracts thousands of visitors to Spain, eager to participate in a very messy tomato street battle all in the name of fun! It’s chaotic and and completely unforgettable. Students today learned cultural facts about this festival and shared their knowledge on paper tomatoes, which were then playfully tossed at their classmates. Viva La Tomatina! 🍅

This morning we welcomed a new class of students to ABVM School. Our Pre-K 3 students were all smiles coming in to school and are spending their first day making new friends, playing, singing and learning! Welcome to the ABVM School Family!

Happy 1st day of school! It was a great beginning to another amazing year at ABVM! A special thank you to student council who treated teachers, staff and parents to a delicious beverage from Travelin Tom’s Coffee Truck. What a wonderful way to kick off the year!
