The West Frankfort Coalition for the Homeless is currently a task force in the process of incorporation with the goal of identifying contributing factors to the homelessness problem and working to systemically meet needs through service implementation. The mission of the West Frankfort Coalition for the Homeless is to develop and implement a comprehensive, community-based strategy to address homel
essness in West Frankfort, Illinois. Through collaboration, resource sharing, and innovative solutions, the coalition aims to reduce homelessness, improve quality of life, and empower individuals to achieve stability and self-sufficiency. Develop long-term strategies to reduce homelessness by addressing root causes, such as unemployment, mental health issues, and lack of affordable housing.
3. Coordinate efforts among local government, nonprofits, businesses, and the community to maximize impact and minimize redundancy.
4. Advocate for and secure resources, including funding, grants, and donations, to support homelessness programs.
5. Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to ensure progress and adapt strategies as needed.
