Prayer to John Farkas and Zach Farkas, west frankfort youth football is saddened to hear of the passing of Paul Farkas, paul was the lead architect and engineer of many things for our football program both the youth and high school in its early stages. We'd tell paul what we needed and wanted and he got it done. He was a great father and man he will missed by many!!!

PARADE REMINDERS:

Just a reminder that all kids playing 3rd through 8th grade have to have a waiver signed before they can ride in the parade. Make sure to sign the waiver when dropping your child off.

We will be loading the kids at 1:45pm. Please do not be late.

Don’t forget to send candy if your child wants throw candy. It will NOT be provided for them.

ALL players will be dropped off at the football stadium after the parade. There will be a group picture taken (flag through high school) and then your child will need to turn in their jersey.
Jodi Conaway will be set up towards the South Gate to collect all youth tackle jerseys.
Ryan and Jessica Patton will be collecting flag jerseys.

**Please remind your child to be on their best behavior.

📣 Homecoming Parade Information 📣
Please read the entire post — Flag and Tackle teams have different details!

📍 Line-Up Location:
Between the National Guard Armory and Long John Silver’s buildings.
🕓 Arrival Time: All players must be there by 1:45 PM.
‼️ Do NOT just drop your child off! You must take them directly to their coach for check-in.

🎉 Parade Route:
The parade will end at the football stadium. Players will be dropped off there and take part in a Redbird group photo that includes all players from Flag through High School! 📷

👕 Jerseys:
All players will receive their jerseys to wear during the parade.
After the photo is taken, jerseys must be turned back in:
• Flag: Return to Coach Patton or Jessica Patton
• Tackle: Return to Jodi Conaway

🍬 Candy:
If your child wants to throw candy, please send some with them to throw.

🏈 FLAG TEAMS
• Parade spot: #28 (circled in grey)
• Will ride with their coach
• Be sure to check your child in with their specific coach

🏈 TACKLE TEAMS
• Parade spot: #29 (circled in red)
• Will ride on a flatbed trailer
• You MUST sign a waiver for your child to ride — WE CANNOT TRANSPORT YOUR CHILD WITHOUT IT!!!

Pictures and games are on for tonight.

See the schedule changes below for flag football. We will play our regular games this Tuesday and ALL teams will play at 6pm. No pictures Tuesday.

Wednesday we will have pictures and a game. We won't have anything on Thursday this week. Picture times:

-grey team 4pm pics
-red team 430pm
Red vs grey game at 5pm

-White pictures at 5pm
-Yellow pics at 530
White vs yellow game 6pm

Tuesday October 14th will be the last game at 6pm.

***All remaining games and the pictures will be at the high school game field. Nothing at the vocational school anymore.

Any 5th/6th 7th/8th players who have not turned gear in we'll be collecting tonight and tomorrow from 5:30 to 6:45 ish all 3rd/4th players will also be turning in too

Gray and Yellow will play their game at 5pm at the high school field

5:00 White

Game at 6pm for Red and White at the high school field

🏈❤️ REDBIRDS WIN! REDBIRDS WIN!!! ❤️🏈

Our 5th & 6th grade team battled hard and brought home an 18–6 victory over Anna-Jonesboro! 💥

Our 7th & 8th grade team lit up the scoreboard and threw a 36–0 shutout! 🔥 Defense was a wall and the offense couldn’t be stopped!

What a way to finish the season — you left it all on the field and made Redbird Nation proud! 🙌
