It’s crunch time folks!! Literally Cap’n Crunch time!! We need 175 boxes to hit our goal of 614 boxes of cereal!! And we have 1 week to get the mission complete!!! Let’s go!!!

As the great poet Jon Bon Jovi said we’re half way there!! Yesterday we received 77 boxes of cereal!!!! Which coincidentally was the year Jen was born!! 😉 Which brings our total so far to 336 boxes!!! Let’s go!! We got this!! 278 to go!!

Happy birthday to the CFO of Wani’s!! In honor of this day any boxes of cereal received before midnight tonight will be matched!!! Let’s go!! Let’s reach 614 boxes!!!

Thank you to everyone that came by our booth at the car show today!! We handed out a lot of bracelets, stickers, business cards, and church fans!! We made a lot of new connections and look forward to working with some folks to make some positive impact on southern Illinois!! On top of the donation check for $3,500, we received $60 in donations to go buy cereal for our June Mission for Grace Baptist Fellowship Food Pantry!! So we ended the day with a cart full of blessings!!

Huge thank you to Interstate Tire Pros Auto Service and the crew that hosted an amazing event at Mt. Dew Park at the 5th Annual Take Me Out To The Car Show! This crew did an amazing job and held such a fantastic event that raised $7,000 for 2 area charities. Thanks to those proceeds we received a check for $3,500!!! Y’all God is good!!!

We are set up and ready to go at Interstate Tire Pros Auto Service Take Me Out To The Car Show at Mt. Dew Park!! Fun starts at 9!! Lots of cool cars and great vendors and food trucks! Grab a box of cereal for our June Mission and come on out!!

Tomorrow is the big day!! Make plans to come out to Mt. Dew Park in Marion! See some really cool cars and motorcycles and check out the burnout competition!! We will be there in our tent with some swag and info on who we are and what we do!! Stop by and say hi and drop off a box of cereal for our June Mission!! Several food trucks will be on site too!! We look forward to seeing you all there!!

Thought it would be a great idea to share who we are and what we do since we now have over 1,000 followers!!!

Wani’s Warriors, Inc. is a 501c(3) non profit working out of West Frankfort. We are here to give a hand up, not a hand out. We are named after our Mom, Wanda “Wani” (Short) Reed who loved and lived to help others. She opened her heart and home to everyone.

We started out in 2018 by sponsoring 13 students from the West Frankfort school district Christmas Giving Tree has grown to assist hundreds of students receiving new shoes for back to school, close to 1,000 people receiving food from local food pantries and blessing boxes our fellow warriors help stock, over 90 students receiving Christmas gifts, veterans receiving clothing, homeless shelters receiving personal items and laundry supplies, and 5,000 parade goers receiving a Little Debbie Christmas Tree cake at the annual Christmas parade.

We also volunteer at and host several local events and looking forward to even more in the coming years. We rely completely on donations and support from our community.
