I don’t post on this page that much, but today I felt the need to post something about the Symposium in Florida that I attended. I saw so much love and support for the families of hemophiliacs that it was awe-inspiring! Many years ago, when I was diagnosed with hemophilia B, my mother didn’t feel like she had any kind of support from anyone except her family. Even when she did hear about the Hemophilia Organizations, as a young Black woman, she was still not trusting. Being at this year's Symposium, I saw many women with their small children, and it reminded me of my mother with me and my brother when we were younger, and what she had to go through, and how God got her through the tough times. I know that many people may not have time for “religion,” but as the old saying goes, “There are no atheists in foxholes,” and fighting against hemophilia is one hell of a battle for a Hemo Mom to fight without her faith in some kind of spiritual being. Good evening Hemophilia Neighborhood. I hope you are doing well and either watching the game or doing something enjoyable this evening. I am writing to let everyone in the Neighborhood know that unfortunately because of certain circumstances I couldn’t control(I shall speak about them in the next podcast) I cannot get out the next episode for October. I will be back on the air in November. Out of respect for the people in the community who are voting, I will be back on the air after November 5, 2024. I thank all of you for watching my first episode and supporting my dream of getting the information to the people that had no idea what Hemophilia is. Good morning my FB/Meta family. I hope you are doing well this morning. I’m getting another couple of podcasts ready for release hopefully for August and September. I did better than I thought I would, I was thinking that only one or two people would watch the podcast and that would be family members. I almost have more than…well if you want to see how many people have watched then you should watch for it for yourself!
