Hall Corps #104 Axillary to the Grand Army of the Republic meets the 1st Wed of each month at 1pm. Hall Corps #104 was instituted December 11, 1885, with twenty one charter members. As their object was to assist the Grand Army of the Republic, they worked jointly with the GAR Post until it disbanded. Orville Osmer was the last surviving comrade. Retta Wilcox was the first president.

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation experienced an unimaginable loss.

We remember the 2,977 lives taken in New York City, at the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, emergency personnel, military members, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger to help others.

We remember the families who carried an empty place at their tables long after the rest of the world moved forward.

And we remember the men and women who raised their hands in the days, months, and years that followed and answered our nation's call to serve.

For the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic, an organization founded upon the sacred responsibility of preserving the memory of those who served our country, remembrance is more than a word. It is a duty.

Twenty-five years have passed.

We remember still. We will remember always. 🇺🇸

Tonight, from 7–10 PM, we invite our community to join us at Ohio Veterans Memorial Park for our America250 Luminary Remembrance, a quiet evening of reflection beneath the glow of luminaries honoring American service and sacrifice.

25th Anniversary of 9/11/2001 Terror Attack Remembrance Ceremony
September 11, 2026

The Remembrance Ceremony will begin at 8:30 am inside the memorial room of the Monument marking the time of each of the significant moments in the timeline of September 11th, 2001. This ceremony will include wreath placement by local officials and first responders, prayers lead by local religious leaders, and the reading of biographies of Northeast Ohio's 9/11 victims.

At Noon the proceedings moved outside to the Northwest corner of the Monument's esplanade where a formal Memorial service was held with keynote speaker. Please join us for a solemn remembrance either in person at the monument on Public Square or live on out YouTube channel
