I grew up on a farm outside of a real small town called Lowry, Minnesota. Farm living was awesome.

I have always had a draw to the service of others by attempting to emulate the way Jesus first loved and served us.
What is a skill being a firefighter has taught you that you use outside of your job?
Man, the sheer ability to slow down the fast paced, high stress environments/problems to decipher and work through them effectively.
What is your favorite part about being a West Fargo Firefighter?
Being a firefighter is the best job in the world, I absolutely love this calling. In West Fargo especially, the ability to grow is so great not only within the department but for the City as a whole.
What would you say to someone who is considering becoming a firefighter?
Absolutely do everything you can to make it happen you will not regret the journey or the bonds made along the way.
What are some of your hobbies or things you like to do when not on shift for WFFD?
Firstly spending time with my bride and our Pit-bull, outside of that I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, lift weights (and put them back down), hunt, fish, and read a lot of books.
Favorite go to gym song?
This is tough but I have to go with “Duality” by Slipknot, that song will make you want to run through a brick wall.
