Dummerston Community Center & Library

Dummerston Community Center & Library The Community Center is a town-owned building, formally the West Dummerston School, that is leased and maintained by a group of volunteers.

The building is handicap accessible and houses the town public library, the Lydia Taft Pratt Library. Additionally, the Community Center is used by Dummerston town committees, Dummerston Cares, local groups and area residents. The Community Center also adds social and education opportunities with music lessons, quilter events, sing-a-longs and slide shows. Halloween trick-or-treaters and their fam

ilies enjoy the warmth, treats and decorations at the Community Center each year. Many other private parties and family gatherings are held at the "Center" as the back room is available for rent. Contact the Community Center for additional information.

It's getting to be that time of the year to start thinking about joining us on Saturday, December 13th for our annual Gingerbread House Decorating Party. This year's event will be benefiting Lydia's Friends, who raises money for Dummerston's Lydia Taft Pratt Library. Space is limited so please reserve your house early.
