Education
The primary goal of the Des Moines Bitcoin + Blockchain group is helping to educate our fellow Iowans about the power Blockchain technology, Bitcoin, other digital currencies and tokens. We offer live and virtual educational meetups, technical deep dives, Slack discussions, and links to hundreds of hours of free resources.
Community
DSM Bitcoin + Blockchain hosts free in-person meetups twice a month at Gravitate in Valley Junction, West Des Moines. We invite guest speakers, give educational presentations, and learn from one another. This includes time for networking, and plenty of Q&A. We are a friendly bunch of enthusiasts and entrepreneurs who believe in being inclusive of anyone with an interest to learn. Our Meetups have an inviting, open, casual atmosphere. ~ Traditional Meetups ~ fourth Thursday of the month. We discuss the latest news, provide education, host open discussions and invite guest speakers. Our Traditional Meetup’s 101 Table is perfect for beginners. We all enjoy teaching and learning from each other and maintain a safe space for people can to learn about crypto. ~ Technical Meetups ~ second Thursday of the month These meetups are designed to be smaller, and less formal to allow for in-depth discussions of more advanced topics.
