The WDJWC is a very, very proud sponsor of West Deptford’s own Safety Town, focused on teaching health and safety to our local incoming kindergarteners.

Volunteering our time, whether our members or our Juniorettes, is incredibly rewarding and we’re thrilled to remain involved 34 years later!

Big thanks to HA DeHarts, who assisted us with providing the gift cards for the teen volunteers.

It takes a village and we’re grateful to count ourselves among so many philanthropic organizations in WD.

The West Deptford Junior Women's Club is proud to be a sponsor of West Deptford Safety Town, and our Juniorettes were happy to help with registration this morning as we welcomed our incoming kindergarteners and their families. 💚

Safety Town is such a wonderful program that helps prepare our youngest students for a safe and successful start to school, and we're honored to support this important community tradition.

We're also continuing to collect Venmo donations to purchase gift cards for the amazing Safety Town volunteers. Their time, patience, and dedication make this program possible, and we'd love to show them our appreciation.

The WDJWC was thrilled to help sponsor the 35th annual Bookmark Contest in conjunction with the West Deptford Free Public Library and the West Deptford School District.

Did you know that the contest has been consecutive since 1991, never missing a year - even during the pandemic?

We love being part of such a multi-generational event in town!
