It’s one of our biggest events of the year, and this time International Horseshoe Crab Day will be even more special on Friday, June 19 between 10am and 2pm.
2026 marks the tenth year of our Horseshoe Crab Aquaculture Program, which has been educating people about these incredible ‘living fossils’. It’s also our fifth year celebrating International Horseshoe Crab Day itself.
We will also have special guest speaker Liana DiNunzio, shorebird biologist from Manomet Conservation Sciences, who will be talking about her work monitoring horseshoe crabs at the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge Center.
Come to the Museum and join the party, including:
• See live horseshoe crabs at every life stage with opportunities to watch feedings
• Take part in interactive exhibits
• Learn about their fascinating life histories and their human impact
• Enjoy Arts & crafts and a Museum scavenger hunt
All Horseshoe Crab Day events are included with Museum admission.
Guest Speaker Liana DiNunzio will appear at 2:30pm. Tickets also included with admission or separately for $8.
