On this Father's Day we salute all Dad's while remembering and honoring our Pops, Daddy-O, Joe Pinner
He was a provider, a protector and our family cheerleader. He was an amazing example for us all by demonstrating hard work, genuine love for all people, a strong relationship with God and by adoring our Mother.
How fortunate are we to have had such an amazing Dad, and family patriarch.

🎓 In 2023, Joe Pinner created the Joe and Peggy Deen Pinner scholarship fund, to be awarded each year by the Pineview Ruritan Club This year's Scholarship recipient is Gable David Jolly of Brookland Cayce High School.

🎓 Additionally, the family made a 2026 financial contribution from the charitable fund, to The Woman's Club of Cayce that will provide the funding for an additional scholarship to be awarded to one resident of Lexington 2 School district area, high school senior for the next 5-years. This years winner was Elliot Bridges of Brookland Cayce High School.

Today we remember our family matriarch, Peggy Deen Pinner on her birthday. Always stunning, she was the selfless, behind the scenes director, working so hard to get us where we needed to be.

She was the family CFO. Without her thriftiness, love of saving versus spending, and knowledge of investing there would be no Charitable Fund. Sometimes we laughed at her penny pinching, refusal to buy new, or her love of finding a deal but her vision has now come true. We miss her everyday and still hear her guidance as we walk the path she created for us.

This South Carolina treasure was actually born in North Carolina and found his way here via Fort Jackson. You knew him as Joe Pinner, The weather man, Mr.Knozit and PapaJoe. To us he was Daddy-O, Pops, and Grandpa. He appreciated art, baseball, clocks, chamber music, radio equipment, and a good joke, like this t-shirt his dil once gifted him. But most of all he loved people.

Our lives are so much quieter without him and we miss him tremendously, especially today on the day of his birth.🎂

Joe Pinner and Peggy Deen Pinner had an immense appreciation for the arts. They displayed various pieces from local artists in their home, adored the SC Philharmonic Symphony, and were often the first in line to purchase tickets or to support local productions.

Thanks to your generous contributions, the family was able to participate in Harbison Theater at Midlands Technical College, Take a Seat Program, naming a seat in honor of their recent wedding anniversary.
