This organization is about girls ages 5 to 25 in the Latino and international communities who are 25% to 100% Latino or international background, who can represent their roots. We are USA born and must never forget our roots. In this organization we teach our ambassadors to feel proud of who they are and to embrace their two worlds along with volunteering service and having as platforms Sex traff

icking and Domestic violence! The director of South Carolina Latina & International Project is a woman of two worlds and she embraces her roots even though is generations born here. Embracing two worlds is not easy and it can cause complexity in your self esteem therefore this organization is putting a bridge to this gap of having to decide between two worlds. We embrace two worlds, we are two worlds.

Mayor and City Council recognized Mota Crosslinking Business Academy - Academia de Negocios for 5 years of empowering entrepreneurs at the Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

MCBA is more than just an academy; it's a bilingual and multicultural institution that is transforming the Midlands' economy. Through their scholarship programs and Crosslinking Markets, they ensure that entrepreneurial education is accessible to everyone.
