Founded in 2009, Camp T.A.L.K is a social skills day camp for children ages 10 - 18 with Autism. Camp T.A.L.K. We are also pleased to introduce "Camp T.A.L.K.

Camp T.A.L.K is an inclusive social skills day camp for children ages 10 and up. We focus primarily on students who have a diagnosis of Aspergers or PDD-NOS. is held at Willow Ridge Church in Lexington, South Carolina. We offer two "mini sessions" for campers to choose from. Extreme" for students age 15 through college age. "Camp T.A.L.K. Extreme" will visit local colleges and businesses to explore post graduation opportunities. That’s a wrap for Summer 2025! We had a visit from The Columbia Marionettes Theater. We had a lunch of “walking tacos” & Ice cream Sundaes (which were a hit with kids and grownups alike). We celebrated each camper with awards, a video, and kind words from the small group leaders about every camper. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who helped in any way. This is certainly a team effort. 😊

We have an opening for week(s) 2 & 3 in the 10-12 year old boys group. We have 2 openings in the Girls group for week(s) 2-3.

Campers must be toilet trained to attend Camp T.A.L.K. We accept campers starting at age 10.

We had a very busy first day of Camp! We danced with Mrs. Emily, saw Bojangles the therapy dog, played in the gym, did some crafts, and got to know new friends.

Camper GLOW Up: McLane

McLane graduated with Honors from Lexington High. He is currently attending CIU studying Biblical Studies and is in the Deans List. We are currently working on getting his drivers license.. he is in Driving School. Camp Talk was such a fun safe space for him to learn social skills and other life skills. It was a blessing for our family.

Our Story

Camp T.A.L.K is an inclusive social skills day camp for children ages 10 through high school graduation / completion. We were founded in 2009 and became a 501c3 in 2010. We focus primarily on students who have a diagnosis of Aspergers, Autism 1, or PDD-NOS. Camp T.A.L.K. is run by volunteers Our volunteers are made up of teachers (From both the public and private sector), parents of young people on the spectrum, social workers, ABA therapists, dancers, musicians, and college interns who are studying fields that serves students with Autism. Camp T.A.L.K. is held at Willow Ridge Church in Lexington, South Carolina. We offer two "sessions" for campers to choose from in June and July. We offer activities throughout the year for families and we also have a “Parent T.A.L.K.” program as well!

Applications are posted in early February. We accept 25 campers for each session. Registration will close when we all slots are filled. Come see us at our “Camp Site” at www.camptalk.org
