At our September meeting, we donated ten (10) Blessing Bags for people in need to Cornerstone Church and over 200 items to My Hermon Lutheran Church’s Food Bank.

Thanks to everyone who sponsored and participated in our fundraising events to make this possible!

At our July meeting, we presented Blessing Bags for the homeless & less fortunate to the following churches:

* West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene
* Mt. Hermon Lutheran

There to bless the bags was Rev. Dr. Ann Kovan from Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, who inspired our club to create the bags.

Members of the Pineview Ruritan Club will also be distributing the bags. These bags were made possible by all the fundraisers we do throughout the year. THANK YOU to everyone who participated!

Congratulations to two of our three Continuing Education Scholarship Winners for the upcoming 26/27 school year; VIRGINIA LIBBEY & GRAHAM WHITTLE.

After they qualified for the Joe & Peggy Pinner $1,000 Charitable Fund Scholarship in high school, they have been able to maintain their high grades in college to earn an additional $500 scholarship, and will continue to do so for up to 4 years. Thank you to everyone who supports our fundraisers that enable us to do so!

We wish them continued success!

We have a few bags of boiled peanuts left. If you heard we were going to sell peanuts on Thursday (July 2nd), we are sorry, but we will be unable to sell them at Floor Mart West due to unforeseen circumstances.

We will be at clubhouse cleaning for most of the day. Call Gary 803-331-0044 if you are interested in purchasing what we have left over.

Thank you to everyone that bought them. Have a great 4th of July 250th edition.

Our latest meeting tonight was highly successful, with a fish fry hosted by Keith and Butch, the addition of Cornerstone Methodist Church to our network of supported food pantries, and the presentation of a sponsorship check to the American Legion Post 79 for Boys & Girls State! We also welcomed Dylan Catledge as our newest Youth Member!
