All volunteers show up. Some become part of the mission.

Today we were proud to present Sergeant First Class Justin Hughes of the South Carolina National Guard with the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (MOVSM).
In just two years, Justin had shared 315 hours with the USO, volunteering in our center at Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE), supporting programs and events, connecting future Soldiers to the USO experience, and always stepping up when help is needed.
Justin’s impact reaches far beyond the hours he’s served. He’s helped strengthen partnerships, supported service members at every stage of their journey and made our USO community stronger.
We’re grateful for your service, Justin; both in and out of uniform! 🇺🇸
