Barclay Friends had the privilege of welcoming a new group of student musicians to our campus for an amazing live musical performance for our residents on Sunday, August 30th.🎻🎶
Music Angels Inc. is a nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire and educate music students and musicians about the healing power of music, particularly through music therapy. The program features a wide variety of repertoire, from classical favorites and traditional works to popular music and memorable movie hits, offering something for every audience.
The string ensembles are primarily made up of talented student musicians, mostly middle and high school students, who volunteer their time and musical talents to perform for the community.
Residents and family members were moved by the beauty of the wide variety of pieces the students played. They heard popular classical arrangements as well as songs by the Beatles and Michael Jackson.
