Markey, the Kennett Symphony Children’s Chorus is a community organization for boys and girls grades K through 12.

​The Chorus is an educational outreach of the Kennett Symphony of Chester County and gives qualified singers an opportunity to perform high-caliber, age-appropriate repertoire that is culturally and musically diverse while nurturing vocal and musical development within a group settin

g. The Kennett Symphony Children's Chorus rehearses on the WCU campus every Tuesday evening from September through May, with a brief break over the December holidays.

A look back at one of the songs from our Spring Concert 🎶

“Skye Boat Song” is a traditional Scottish folk song arranged by Greg Gilpin. The song tells the story of Prince Charles Edward Stuart escaping to the Isle of Skye after battle and has been passed down for generations through music and storytelling.
