We are comprised of a Retreat Center which sleeps 21; a Spiritual Center with Sunday Church Services; and meditation, yoga, drumming and other offerings. Temenos Community sits on 57-wooded acres in Chester County, Pa. It is intentionally set apart as a living sanctuary for all who desire to rest, renew, and rejuvenate. We welcome spiritual-based and therapeutic-based communities and groups, along
with families and individuals seeking time away to nurture new ways of being and to develop a stronger connection to the Divine. We agree that the Sacred Land here nourishes and requires nurturing. We are all caretakers and we are all being taken care of in this natural sanctuary. There are volunteer opportunities available to help with the Community Food Garden, maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and grounds, to greet and setup/ clean up after our Sunday Services, along with special group projects throughout the year like working on the "Peace Path," which is a hiking trail through the beautiful Sacred Grove of Trees. We welcome people from all paths. We embrace a Global spirituality and inclusiveness. Our interfaith Sunday 10am Church services are open to all, and are held at our historic Farmhouse (685 Broad Run Road) or in the Great Room of the Retreat Center (1564 Telegraph Road). These services are available for viewing online, and are livestreamed from this page. We welcome all inquiries to rent our Retreat House and Center for day or overnight group events, meetings and weddings. If during the week, we may also have opportunities available to rent the Great Room for publicly offered classes like Yoga, Meditation, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, ect. Please call our office or email [email protected] for more information. All are welcome to walk our Peace Paths, sit by the Broad Run Creek or meditate in our beautiful Farmhouse garden. Please note that some retreat groups rent exclusive access to the entire property, so there may be times these options are not available. We appreciate your continued support and love all of you.
