Interested in crocheting? There's a club for that! From total beginners to seasoned crocheters, this cozy crochet club is for anyone who loves yarn!

The first meeting is during this 4-H year on September 8th, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., so just add it to your member profile in ZSuite. When the 2026-2027 program year begins in October, you will just need to add this club again when you re-enroll.

Have you wanted to babysit but don't know how to get started? Chester County 4-H and the Phoenixville Recreation Department are partnering to offer a comprehensive one-day BABYSITTING CLASS!

The program will be held on Monday Sept. 21, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.,
This is a no schhol day in Phoenixville and many area schools.

Enrollment is limited to 25 participants and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the class reaches capacity, youth will automatically be placed on the waitlist. The cost is $35 per participant.

4-H will be working with Phoenixville Recreation Department to offer a 1 day Babysitting Class on Monday - Sept 21st. This is a NO school day for many districts. Registration is open at https://4h.zsuite.org/external-event-registration/50886 4-H membership is NOT required

The program will be held on Saturday, November 14, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., at the Phoenixville Recreation Center, 501 Franklin Avenue Phoenixville, PA.

For youth ages 11 and older, this engaging course is designed to help participants develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to become responsible babysitters. Youth will learn essential caregiving techniques, basic first aid, safety practices, and tips for finding and managing babysitting jobs.

Registration is required. Current Chester County 4-H members can register at https://4h.zsuite.org/event-registrations/50899. Those who are not currently 4-H members can register at https://4h.zsuite.org/external-event-registration/50899.
