SOME ADVENTURES ARE MEANT TO BE SHARED.

Whitewater rafting gave our Scouts the chance to get outside, challenge themselves, work together, and experience a little excitement along the way.

It takes communication, teamwork, and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone—and there’s nothing quite like experiencing it together.

Just another adventure with Troop 14!

HOW WE END A SCOUT MEETING…

We gather in our closing circle.
We reflect on the evening.
We share the traditional Scout handshake.

And then… apparently it’s time for neckerchief tag. 😂

A little tradition. A little reflection. A little chaos.

Just another night of Scout life. 🏕️

THIS IS WHY YOU GO TO CAMP.

Adventure? ✅
Friends? ✅
Making memories? ✅
Unexpectedly transforming into Superman? Apparently. 🤷‍♀️

The best part of Scouting isn’t always the activity you planned. Sometimes it’s the ridiculous moments you’ll remember years later.

Come make some memories.

⭐ SCOUT SPOTLIGHT ⭐

Meet Gavin and Finn, two stars of summer camp this year!

Gavin earned the Silver Buckle Award, recognizing the Scout who best demonstrates the Scout Oath, Scout Law, and overall Scout Spirit throughout the week at summer camp.

Finn was named Rookie of the Year, an honor given to a first-year camper who demonstrates an outstanding attitude, exceptional Scout Spirit, high participation, and cheerfulness.

We are incredibly proud of both of them!

These awards are a great reflection of the kind of Scouts they are—not just in what they accomplish, but in the attitude, leadership, and Scout Spirit they bring with them.

Congratulations, Gavin and Finn!

WHAT DOES OUR TROOP DO?

A little bit of this… and a whole lot more!

🎣 Fishing and enjoying the outdoors
⚓ Exploring history aboard a battleship
🔥 Gathering around the campfire
🍳 Learning to cook and take care of ourselves

Scouting is about trying new things, learning new skills, getting outside, making memories, and having adventures with friends.

And the best part? The Scouts help decide where the adventure takes them.

Come see what Scouting is all about!

BACK TO SCHOOL… AND LOOKING AHEAD!

Tonight, our adult leaders will be out at two local elementary schools - Greystone Elementary and East Bradford Elementary- for Back-to-School Night, meeting families and sharing a little about what Scouting has to offer.

If you have a 5th grader who loves adventure, enjoys learning new things, or could use a chance to build confidence and leadership skills, we’d love for you to come see what our troop is all about.

And while the adults may be the ones at the table tonight, we think the best part of Scouting is what happens when the Scouts take the lead.

WHO RUNS OUR TROOP?

The Scouts do.

At Troop 14, our Scouts aren’t just along for the ride.

They plan the activities.
They choose the adventures.
They make decisions.
They solve problems.
They lead meetings.
They teach each other.
They take responsibility for their troop.

The adults are there to provide guidance, support, safety, and mentorship—but we don’t run the troop for them.

Because the goal isn’t to create adults who can run a troop.

The goal is to help boys become young men who can lead themselves and others.

That’s what boy-led Scouting looks like.

The Scouts lead. The adults guide. The adventure is theirs.
