પૂર્ણિમા / શરદ પૂર્ણિમા નું મહત્વ
1. ધાર્મિક મહત્વ
• માન્યતા છે કે આ દિવસે ચંદ્રમા પોતાના પુરા 16 કલાથી આભામાં ઝળહળે છે.
• ભગવાન શ્રી કૃષ્ણે ગોપીઓ સાથે રાસરમણો (મહારાસ) આ રાત્રે કર્યો હતો.
• આ દિવસને કૌમુદી ઉત્સવ તરીકે પણ ઉજવવામાં આવે છે.
• ભક્તો ચંદ્રદેવની પૂજા કરીને આરોગ્ય, સુખ અને સમૃદ્ધિની પ્રાર્થના કરે છે.
2. આરોગ્યદાયક મહત્વ
• શરદ ઋતુમાં ચાંદનીમાં ખાસ પ્રકારનું ઔષધીય ગુણ રહેલું હોય છે.
• આ દિવસે દૂધમાં ખાંડ-માખણ કે દૂધ-પોહા બનાવી ચાંદનીમાં રાખવામાં આવે છે, જેથી ચંદ્રકિરણોનું પોષણ મળે.
• આ દૂધ-પોહા સવારે કે રાત્રે પ્રસાર રૂપે લેવાથી આરોગ્યને લાભ મળે છે (પાચનશક્તિ, તંદુરસ્તી અને મનશાંતિ માટે સારું માનવામાં આવે છે).
3. સાંસ્કૃતિક મહત્વ
• લોકો ચાંદની રાત્રે ભેગા થઈને ભજન-કીર્તન, ગારબા કે રાસ કરે છે.
• આ તહેવારથી લોકોમાં એકતા અને આનંદનું વાતાવરણ ફેલાય છે.
4. ખગોળીય મહત્વ
• આ રાત્રે ચંદ્રમા પૃથ્વી નજીક હોવાથી તેનું કિરણ વિશેષ પ્રભાવશાળી હોય છે.
• વૈજ્ઞાનિકો પણ સ્વીકાર કરે છે કે આ રાત્રે ચંદ્રકિરણ શરીર અને મન પર શાંત પ્રભાવ પાથરે છે.
✨ આમ સુરત પૂર્ણિમા માત્ર ધાર્મિક જ નહીં પરંતુ આરોગ્ય અને આનંદમય જીવન માટે પણ ખૂબ મહત્વ ધરાવે છે.

🌕 Significance of Surad Purnima / Sharad Purnima
1. Religious Significance
• It is believed that on this day the moon shines in its full 16 colors.
• Lord Krishna performed Rasaramana (Maharas) with the Gopis on this night.
• This day is also celebrated as a Kaumudi festival.
• Devotees worship Chandradev and pray for health, happiness and prosperity.
2. Health Significance
• Moonlight has special medicinal properties in the autumn season.
• On this day, sugar-butter or milk-poha is made in milk and kept in the moonlight, so that the moon rays nourish it.
• Taking this milk-poha as prasara in the morning or at night provides health benefits (it is considered good for digestion, health and peace of mind).
3. Cultural Significance
• People gather on the moonlit night and perform Bhajan-Kirtan, Garba or Raas.
• This festival spreads an atmosphere of unity and joy among the people.
4. Astronomical Significance
• On this night, the moon's rays are especially influential as it is close to the earth.
• Scientists also accept that the moon's rays have a calming effect on the body and mind on this night.
✨ Thus, Surat Purnima is not only religious but also has great importance for health and a happy life.
