Havelock D. Nelson American Legion Post #681 conducted a flag retirement and disposal on Saturday 25 July 2026. Hundreds of flags were disposed of in a dignified manner. If you have a flag that is no longer serviceable you can drop it off at Ace Hardware on Cincinnati Dayton or Tonya Trail or at any West Chester or Liberty Twp Fire department and we will see that they are properly disposed of.

Havelock D. Nelson American Legion Post #681 will be conducting a flag retirement and disposal on Saturday 27 June at the Cabin fire ring in Keehner Park in West Chester starting at 1000am. You can bring your worn/tattered flags to the park for disposal. The public is welcomed to attend a short ceremony and help with the disposal.
