We have been chartered by the West Chester Society of Friends since the late 1920s.

They supply Troop 6 with excellent facilities, use of the Friends School’s gymnasium & meeting rooms; and storage space for the Troop’s camping equipment.

Troop 6 Ski Trip

Scouts, Family and Friends.

We have secured a group rate for skiing and boarding at Montage Mountain on Sunday, February 16th, 2025.

The pricing is as follows;

Lift ticket only $70

Lift Ticket and ski or snowboard rental $85

Lift ticket, rental and lesson $95

Helmet rental $10

In 2023, Troop 6 continued to build upon our rich history in the West Chester Community with 5 Scouts achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Collin Krasnai, Jack Messaros, Jimmy Blair, Branton Pratt, and Harry McAnulla have earned the rank of Eagle Scout and we are so proud of them. Troop 6 has 229 Scouts who have achieved the rank of Eagle in the last 100 years.

Troop 6 Eagle Projects can be experienced all over chester county. Eagle projects create positive impact on their communities and teach the scouts leadership skills that will last a lifetime. In our Fall Court of Honor we awarded a total of 47 Merit Badges to our Scouts. We are also proud to have awarded 7 different scouts their Rank Advancements in the areas of: Tenderfoot, Life & Eagle Scout! Big week for Troop 6. Court of Honor tonight in which Scouts will receive recognition for earning 19 merit badges and achieving rank advancement including Scout, Star, Life & Eagle. New leaders will be installed in there positions and we'll celebrate all of these great achievements. To end the week, the Scouts will be attending Cook-O-Rama and competing Top Chef style while camping out. 👏👏👏
