Thank you KACS for inviting us to present at your Getting Ahead workshops this month! We had a great time educating your participants on the impact of ACEs, trauma, and toxic stress but also how to build hope and resiliency to overcome :)

☀️💙 Summer of Connection may be coming to an end, but connection doesn’t have a season.

Over the past few months, we’ve celebrated the people, relationships, communities, and everyday moments that help us feel supported and connected.

We’ve shared stories.
We’ve gathered together.
We’ve learned from one another.
We’ve made new connections.
And we’ve been reminded that we don’t have to navigate life alone.

Thank you to everyone who participated in Summer of Connection—whether you attended an event, shared a story, connected someone to a resource, reached out to a friend, or simply took a moment to think about the importance of connection.

As summer comes to a close, we hope you’ll carry this message with you:

Keep checking in.
Keep reaching out.
Keep showing up.
Keep making space for others.

Because small moments of connection can make a big difference.

**Connection doesn’t have a season. 💙**

🤝 Connection takes a community.

Our Summer of Connection campaign wouldn’t have been possible without the many people and organizations who continue to create spaces for connection, support, learning, and belonging across Chester County.

To our community partners, volunteers, advocates, event organizers, helping professionals, and everyone who showed up this summer— thank you. 💙

Thank you for:
• Creating opportunities for people to connect
• Sharing resources and support
• Making space for meaningful conversations
• Showing up for your communities
• Helping remind others that they are not alone

We’re grateful to be part of a community that believes in the power of connection.

**And we’re just getting started.**

💙 Who helped you feel connected this summer?

Maybe it was a friend who checked in.

A family member who was there when you needed them.

A coworker who made you laugh.

A neighbor who showed up.

A group where you felt like you belonged.

Or someone who simply took the time to listen.

Connection can make a difference—and sometimes, we don’t realize how much someone’s presence means until we stop to appreciate it.

Take a moment today to think about someone who helped you feel supported, seen, or connected this summer.

👇 Tag them below and let them know you appreciate them!

☀️ What has connection looked like this summer?

Throughout our Summer of Connection campaign, we’ve been reminded that connection can happen in so many ways.

It can look like:
💙 Sharing a meal with someone
💙 Checking in on a friend
💙 Showing up for your community
💙 Finding a group where you feel like you belong
💙 Sharing your story
💙 Asking for help—or offering it
💙 Simply making time for the people who matter

From community gatherings and conversations to shared experiences and everyday moments, connection has been all around us.

As we head toward the end of Summer of Connection, we’re reflecting on the moments that brought us together—and looking forward to continuing that connection beyond the summer.

**What has connection looked like for you this summer?**

The Chester County ACEs Coalition is excited to be presenting at an upcoming conference on our Connections: Trauma & Su***de training — a program focused on understanding the intersection of trauma, su***de, and the importance of compassionate, trauma-informed support.

Addressing trauma and supporting su***de loss survivors requires collaboration across systems, organizations, and communities. When partners and providers come together, we can build stronger networks of support, reduce stigma, and create meaningful change for individuals and families impacted by loss and adversity.

We invite you to join us for this important opportunity to learn, connect, and strengthen our collective efforts to support our communities.

📌 Register for the conference today and be part of the conversation!
