Congratulations to Sister Pearl Dorsey on her appointment as Mount Carmel’s Director of Community Partnerships!

Sister Dorsey is a former educator who, in retirement, has continued to live out her passion for education and community service. She currently serves as our Program Director for the East Miner Collaborative CDC and has also been faithfully assisting Mount Carmel’s Trustee Board with administrative tasks.

This appointment reflects the work Sister Dorsey is already doing. In this newly-created role, she will continue working with Pastor Boyer and the Church Leadership Team to facilitate strong relationships with our rapidly growing list of community partners.

We celebrate Sister Dorsey’s heart, service, and commitment to the Mount Carmel community!

This weekend at Mount Carmel, we enjoyed our regular 5th Friday Fun Night with food, fellowship, and games. Then, on Sunday, our young people led us in worship for Youth Sunday. Through our pastor, God spoke a word to encourage us that He is a restorer and that He can always catch us up.

After service, we continued the fellowship with more food, fun, and ice cream sundaes.
