Stand Up "Unplugged" is about discovering your identity through the eyes of the One who created you and realizing that you are not junk, not an accident, or a mistake. You are God’s masterpiece.

There are a lot of voices competing for your attention—social media, opinions, expectations, comparison and nonstop distractions. Signal Over Static is about learning to turn down the noise so you can hear the voice that matters most: God’s. Sometimes you have to unplug from the static to reconnect with what really matters. Turn down the noise. Tune into God.

DAY 05 — STAY HUNGRY 🙏🔥

You made it to the final day! 🎉 This week, you’ve done an AMAZING job choosing to set aside distractions and make room to seek God. Remember, fasting isn’t about simply going without food—it’s about developing a deeper hunger for Jesus and learning to turn our physical hunger into spiritual hunger. When we hunger and thirst for righteousness, Jesus promises that we will be filled.

As you finish this week, don’t let the hunger for God end with the fast. Keep praying, keep getting into God’s Word, keep showing up in community, and keep pursuing Jesus every day. You did an incredible job this week—be proud of the commitment you made, and keep going! Stay hungry for God! 🔥

🔥 DAY 4 | WHY DO WE FAST? IT FIXES OUR FOCUS. 🔥

When Daniel was overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty, he turned to prayer and fasting to refocus his heart on God (Daniel 9:3). Fasting isn’t just about giving something up—it’s about drawing closer to Jesus, taking our eyes off distractions, and reminding ourselves that God is our source. 🙏
When we combine fasting with prayer, we’re telling God that we’re serious about seeking Him and trusting Him for breakthrough.

This week, ask God to refocus your prayers, reveal areas where you need a breakthrough, and give you strength and grace in your weakness.

DAY 3 | We Fast To Purify Ourselves 🙏🔥

Daniel was a young man living in a culture that constantly pressured him to compromise his faith, but he made a choice to honor God—even when it meant going against the crowd. In the same way, fasting isn’t just about giving up food; it’s about creating space to focus on God and saying no to the things that can pull our hearts away from Him.

Students, you have choices every day about what you allow to shape your heart, mind, and life. This week, let’s follow Daniel’s example: choose God over the culture, protect your relationship with Him, and don’t be afraid to swim against the current.

DAY 2 🔥 | WHY DO WE FAST?
Jesus didn’t say “if you fast…” — He said “when you fast.” Fasting isn’t about trying to get God to give us what we want or prove how spiritual we are. It’s about putting distractions aside and making more room for Jesus—to seek Him, hear His voice, and grow closer to Him. 🙏

We’re not fasting because we need God to bless our plans; we’re fasting because Jesus is worth pursuing. When we feel hungry, distracted, or uncomfortable, let it remind us that our deepest need isn’t found in food, entertainment, or anything else—it’s found in Him. ❤️‍🔥 Keep going, fam. Jesus sees what happens in secret, and He’s using this time to transform us from the inside out!

🔥 HEY STUDENTS! TODAY IS DAY 1 OF OUR DANIEL FAST! 🔥
“What even IS a Daniel Fast?” 🤔
Well… I’m glad you asked! 😂

The Daniel Fast isn’t about going on a diet or seeing who can survive without pizza the longest. 🍕😂 It’s about giving up some of the things we normally enjoy so we can make MORE room for God. 🙏

For the next few days, we’re focusing on fruits 🍎, veggies 🥦, whole grains 🌾, beans, nuts, and seeds while taking a break from things like meat, dairy, and processed foods.
But here’s the BIGGEST part: this isn’t really about food—it’s about Jesus. ❤️ Every time you get hungry, crave your favorite snack, or think, “I NEED PIZZA!” 😂 let it remind you to stop, pray, open your Bible, and ask God to fill you with more of Him.

🔥 Let’s expect God to move.
🙏 Let’s pray like crazy.
📖 Let’s get in the Word.
❤️ Let’s make room for Jesus.
