Chester County Marching Forward (CCMF) is a trusted community of everyday people organizing to defeat the rise of authoritarianism and build a democracy that works for all of us. We are a highly engaged activist group comprised of nearly 900 PROACTIVE VOTERS, and we are growing in strength and number. We hold liberal and progressive social values and support policies and candidates that do. We sup
port the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and the rule of law. We believe the right to vote is sacrosanct. We seek to collaborate with all elected officials to impact policy and legislation. We educate and motivate the electorate to VOTE, especially the young and disenfranchised. We advocate for progressive change on issues including Fair Districts, climate change, pipeline safety, access to reproductive health, public education, healthcare, immigrant and refugee treatment, systemic racism, and criminal justice reform. Well over a dozen of our members have run for and won elected positions, including a PA Senator and three PA Congresswomen, plus County-level elected officials including Treasurer, Controller, Coroner, and Clerk of Courts in 2017, and District Attorney, Sheriff, Prothonotary, and Chair of the Board of County Commissioners in 2019. In 2020, we are actively collaborating with other groups across PA who are registering voters and taking actions to get out the vote.
