Our next Open Shop is this Saturday!

Open shops are usually held the second Saturday of the month from 10 AM - 12 noon at 1066 New Street, West Chester.

The Fostering Hope Foster-Share Closet is a place where foster/kinship parents and children can shop for items. The closet includes essential gear, clothing, toys, furniture, additional child-care items, as well as a ‘library’ full of books. All items are on a first-come, first-serve basis and completely free. We are here to support your family. If you need/want something we don't have on hand, please ask as we often have additional resources available for certain items.

If you attended before please bring back your dignity duffle to fill again. (If you forget we do have other bags you can use.)

If our Open Shops don't fit your schedule, shopping is also available by appointment, but families are asked to schedule visits ahead of time to ensure the space is available.

***Donations of spring/summer like-new clothing will be accepted. We especially need Girls and Boys clothing size 8 through adult.***

We served 26 youth on Saturday at our Open Shop and they were greeted by the handsome therapy dog, Gus, from Paws for Friends! He brought so much joy (and kisses and stickers!) to his new friends, children and adults alike! 🧡💙

Our next Open Shop is this Saturday! In celebration of National Foster Care Month, we will have a therapy dog from Paws for Friends on hand to greet our guests.
