We are excited to introduce two adorable puppies currently available for adoption at our shelter. Meet Luna, a 13-week-old French Bulldog, and Mimi, a 10-week-old Dachshund. Both puppies were recently brought to us by their owner, who unfortunately cannot keep them due to apartment restrictions. Luna and Mimi are AKC registered, up-to-date on all their vaccinations, and come with the necessary papers. They are well-adjusted, gentle with kids, and get along well with other pets. This year we lost our mascot, Scooter. She was a big favorite of all volunteers and especially Debbie, her foster mom. Prior to her passing Debbie fostered Scrappy and this was a puppy that Scooter was fond of. Short version is Debbie adopted Scrappy, and both dogs enjoyed each other's company.
After Scooter passed, we thought that Scrappy would follow in Scooter steps and she became the new mascot. I now introduce the Orphaned Pet mascot Scrappy.

Update on Goldie's leg surgery.

Goldie had surgery nearly two months ago at UPenn in PA. It is a college/hospital that worked on helping this pup recover and use her back legs. In the past, she walked on her front legs and barely on her back ones. With surgery and therapy, she now is learning to use the back legs. Difficult to overcome the habit but she is doing so well.
