MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!! We are elated to announce that an anonymous donation has been made to the West Brookfield Senior Center!! This donation will allow us to remain open Monday through Friday! To say we are thrilled is an understatement. Our heartfelt appreciation for the generous soul (or souls) who understand the tremendous value that our services provide to our local seniors. 🚨FREE SUMMER WORKSHOPS ALERT🚨

TipTop Co-Op was awarded a grant from Quaboag Hills Community Health Improvement Plan to offer a series of FREE summer workshops starting in June!

First workshop is a one-hour Introduction To Herbalism class on Thursday June 18th and Thursday July 16th, both from 7-8pm at 7 Sherman St in Brookfield (walking distance from the store!)

Our instructor will be co-op member Dina LeDuke, a life-long lover of herbal teas and proponent of natural medicines. She holds an Herbalist Apprenticeship certificate from Honey Wall Holistic in Charlton. The workshop will cover the basics of herbs that can be used for common ailments and overall health. Participants will make sample herbal tea blends and enjoy a cup during class.

That's why Meals on Wheels volunteers are more than just a meal delivery; they provide a friendly face, a wellness check, and a moment of connection. For many seniors, that knock on the door may be the only social interaction they have all day.

Need a ride to the barbershop or dentist? Senior Connection has partnered with Yellow Cab to make it easier than ever for older adults to access complimentary barber and dental services using free transportation.

If you're unable to visit one of our Barber Connect bus locations throughout Central Massachusetts, we can arrange Yellow Cab transportation at no cost to and from The Grease Barbershop at 807 Main Street in Worcester. To arrange a dental visit and cab transportation to and from the Senior Dental Clinic at Quinsigamond Community College, call the Senior Dental Clinic at 508-854-4306 Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm.
