River Walk 2026 was a success because of you, our incredible sponsors!

Whether you contributed financial support or donated amazing items for our silent auction, you helped make this event unforgettable for our community.

We can’t tag everyone here, but we’d love your help celebrating them. Tag your favorite sponsor and give them a shoutout!! Let’s fill the comments with gratitude for the businesses that showed up for our town!

Thank you, sponsors, for showing what community spirit looks like. We appreciate you more than words can say.

Can you believe that we had over 60 families take kayaks out on the river?

Huge thank you to Victory Rentals for handling the non stop lines!

A huge thank you to the friendly faces from healthy_hustlefitness who volunteered their time to help with waivers! Again, River Walk is made possible by support from our local businesses!

The kayak launch is left in the water all year, so definitely check it out on some cooler days too!

For one Sunday in June, River Street belongs to people instead of cars.

Families walking down the middle of the road. Kids chasing each other between food trucks. Live music drifting between War Memorial Park and Pratt's Landing. A river most of us blow past at 35 mph, finally given the space to slow us down.

We were lucky to spend the day photographing it. These are some of our favorites from the afternoon.

West Bridgewater River Walk doesn't happen on its own. It runs on the people and organizations who decide that it should.

This year's lead sponsors were the National Medical Education & Training Center and Welch Surveyors — the kind of backing that's easy to overlook until you try to picture the day without it. A grant from the West Bridgewater Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council to West Bridgewater Open Space Committee & Conservation Commission helped fund the music, the art, and the cultural programming that gave the day its texture.

And then there are the regulars who show up year after year. Annie’s Woof Pack Dog Walking & Pet Sitting keeping the dogs hydrated. Frontline Cafe & Bakery feeding the line that wrapped around the tent. Bay Circuit Trail and Greenway and the Appalachian Mountain Club reminding everyone what sits on the other side of the trailhead. The Town of West Bridgewater making the whole thing legally walkable. And West Bridgewater Open Space, the committee behind all of it, doing the unglamorous work of pulling a town together for one Sunday a year.

Feel free to like, share, or use any of these photos from us.

And if the day moved you, follow these organizations. Show up at their events. Donate when you can. Open space stays open because people show up for it.

While we regroup from the weekend, the West Bridgewater Open Space Committee & Conservation Commission want to thank the Town of West Bridgewater for their support of River Walk. From giving us the approval to shut down a busy road for the day, to the DPW working to make sure River Street looked as beautiful as possible, to the coordination with the West Bridgewater Police Department to help keep the event safe, we couldn't have done it without the cooperation of the people who make this town truly special.

We have more coming in the next few days, but, for now, here are some pictures from River Walk 2026 from our volunteers and participants.

To everyone involved in the planning and ex*****on of today's event, thank you.

To all of the local businesses who supported us and made this event possible to put on, thank you.

To all of our vendors and non-profits who stuck with us through weather drama, thank you.

Most importantly, big thanks to YOU, our community, for coming out and making it all worth it.

We'll be back after some much needed sleep.
